Two Tucson Fliers Killed In Crash
H. S. Jacobs 43 and James W. Shields 26, Tucson fliers, died in a hillside crash of their BT-13 two place aircraft 10 miles northeast of Williams after departing Grand Canyon airport on Feb 28. Bodies found Sunday afternoon as rescue teams, led by Gilpin Airlines, conducted a two week air search amid heavy snow and low visibility. Jacobs had come to Tucson from Chicago.
