Fining Of Union Upheld By Labor Management
A joint labor management committee upheld a $500 fine against Carpenters Local 2763 AFL-CIO for a three day wildcat strike at Snowflake on May 8. The State Joint Conference Board suspended the fine for six months if no incidents occur.

Arizona Bank Breaks Ground on North Stone Office
Construction has begun on a $200,000 Arizona Bank facility at North Stone Avenue and 2nd Street in Tucson. The project by M. J. Lang Construction Co. will add about 10,000 square feet with a basement of 4,700 square feet and drive-in teller service. Completion is expected in November. Friedman and Jobusch designed the modern building, which will also include a staff kitchen, recreation area, and a community room in the basement for civic groups. The current bank will remain open until the new quarters are finished.
