A house watchdog committee said the Air Force will cancel plans for nearly 100 million dollars of barracks at bases after a study of 105 bases. Davis-Monthan was among the cuts totaling about 1.0 million. Spokesmen said bids will determine how much housing can be built with the savings and that overplanning caused the overestimate of available housing and married airmen.
