Writers End 16 Week Strike with New TV Pact
Los Angeles AP says the Writers Guild of America approved a four year contract with AMPTP ending the walkout. The deal retroactive to the start of the strike raises minimum pay for feature scripts to 16000 and hourly TV writing pay to 6000 with increases through 1976, plus first time residuals for cassette and pay TV sales. New York Book Clubs Agree to Clearer Terms
