Levi asserts wiretap rights against domestic groups
Atty. Gen. Levi says he can authorize warrantless taps against domestic groups with unlawful activity aimed at a foreign country or foreign based political group. A DC Circuit ruling blocked warrantless taps on domestic groups not tied to foreign powers. Levi disclosed 1974 saw warrantsless taps on 180 individuals or groups.

Eugene Sonny Rickles was reelected unanimously to a one year term as chairman of the Pima County Planning and Zoning Commission. Dee O Neill was re elected as vice chairman.
