YR Drive Heats Up at National Convention Vote
The Young Republicans convene in Phoenix for the 17th biennial YR Federation meeting with about 2,000 attendees as delegates prepare to vote on a new national chairman between Frank Fahrenkopf of Reno and Don Sundquist of Minneapolis. The campaign features factional tensions with California and Arizona delegations misaligned over fees, hotel costs, and funding strategies amid reduced attendance and last minute scheduling.
