Beach sanitizer machine aims to clean beaches and cash in
In Oxnard California a three ton beach sanitizer developed by Allis-Chalmers operators cleans sand at four miles per hour sifting 1600 pounds per second and can collect about fourteen dollars in coins per hour on a popular beach. The device behind a 75 hp tractor can cover forty acres a day and replaces smaller beach cleaning tools. The machine’s production date is undecided and its viability depends on further interest from coastal communities.
