Remembering a life of travel and service
Mrs. Gulden died years ago and their family were Presbyterians with active roles in the Elks and Knights of Pythias. In retirement he enjoyed recalling early railroad days in Arizona and New Mexico. He described Indians riding freights, boarding first cars with their families and getting free hides as government wards, then riding off at dusk to repeat the routine.
