New York cotton futures fell 17 to 21 points as Bombay interests liquidated and hedging boosted selling. Trade and professionals provided support but prices closed near day lows with July at 14.52 53 and July contracts across several months. Middling spot quoted at 15.35.
Los Angeles market bulletin lists receipts and prices for June 24. Butter 70 600 pounds, cheese 21 900 pounds. Butter in bulk 38. Candled large eggs 33, do mediums 29, do smalls 24.
In Boston on June 24 sales of combing bright fleece wools closed with most lots at 46 to 47 cents per pound grease. Some fractions above 47 cents occurred. Demand was spotty and overall volume was modest. French combing length fine territory wools sold around 182.03 on a few entries.

New York June 24 buyers cooled after Monday rally as war fears shifted mood to light selling. The session closed modestly lower with fractions to a point declines in several sections. Volume ran around 450000 shares versus 754000 the day before, with gains led by U S Steel Bethlehem Chrysler Montgomery Ward and others while U S Rubber N Y Central Great Northern Southern Railway and United Aircraft held firm.
