Iowa Mother Is Murdered at Tavern in Gruesome Slaying

The nude mutilated body of 22 year old Mrs. Harvey Stahlhut was found Thursday in the walk in refrigerator of the couple's tavern in Morrison Iowa. Sheriff John A Meyer said the killing was by a maniac with throat, breast, and body wounds. The husband found the body after being out of town. The couple's year old child slept unharmed nearby. No suspects named as investigators await a state CID agent.

In Danville Pennsylvania a fast diesel derailed smashing the depot and injuring a girl while her mother escaped unharmed.
