Old El Paso Jail Gallows Cut Down
The old El Paso jail gallows built in 1880 and used once was cut down to clear a parking lot. The condemned were Antonio Flores and Geronimo Parra, who fought from their cells with daggers before their 1900 hangings. The gallows later saw no use and was removed yesterday.
