After two mistrials the Spinelli extortion case is transferred from Justice of the Peace La Vetter to Pinal County Peace Justice William L. Swink. Spinelli waives jury. Swink will hear alone. The move follows an affidavit of bias alleging publicity could taint a Pima County jury. koper Slefkin remains at large with warrants issued. Swink aims to rule in early July as he contemplates a sheriff bid.
