Albania Charges Khrushchev Backed Hungarian Revolt
The Albanian party newspaper Zeri i Popullit claims Premier Khrushchev supported Hungary's 1956 uprising to topple the Hungarian Communist Party leadership. It says Nagy’s short lived revolutionary government was protected, while noting Khrushchev’s trip to Scandinavia.
