Mother Wins Title and $25,000 in Singer Sew Off
Mrs. William Bishop of Oxnard California won the Sewing Champion of America title and $25,000 in the Singer Sew Off grand prize. Second place went to Mrs. Marguerite Rasmussen of Portland Oregon for a black wool jersey sheath and oatmeal tweed coat. Third prize went to Mrs. Harry Chooljian of New Rochelle New York for a blue broadcloth dress and jacket ensemble.
