Tucson Youth Drowns In Florida River
Brian Eugene Kelly an 18 year old from Tucson drowned when a raft broke apart on the St Johns River in Florida. Another Arizona youth survived after pulling logs as the raft split. Kellys body was recovered about four hours later. The youths were visiting Ivan Harper of Sierra Vista and Kelly Hoth near Mandarin.

County Officials Report Age Falsifications by Employees

Firemen Beat Back Flames Threatening Oracle Homes
A 75 acre brush fire driven by 35 mph winds threatened Oracle homes on the north side of the Catalina Mountains.
