Burglars Net $2000 At Beachcomber Tavern Break-In
Thieves broke into the Beachcomber Tavern at 6951 E. 22nd St. by roof entry, taking about $2000 in cash and $200 in checks along with an estimated $500 in liquor. Police found a crowbar drill and bits on the roof after the 2 am to 4 am break-in. Owner Jerry Hanson reported the loss to city detectives.
