Contractors Not Unions Involved In Tucson Lawsuit
An official from Lusk Homes Inc said he meant contractors when he told police a vandalized Citation Park home was named in a suit against the City of Tucson and Lusk by unions. The suit, filed Feb 24 1960, was by the Electrical Joint Industry Board of Arizona and the Associated Plumbing Heating and Piping Contractors of Arizona Tucson Area Inc. against city officials. The case now lists plumbing contractor Robert W. Castner and M Glynn Cooper as plaintiffs with Richard C. Higinbotham as a defendant and questions city inspection authority under a 1959 ordinance. A separate vote count in another matter noted Hillary’s four vote win for a local office.
