In Redondo Beach California a 13-year-old girl named Janice Roncevich was barred from graduation because of an unorthodox hairdo described as a pompadour with a four inch semi bubble roll and a French roll. Parents protested, saying she should be allowed to participate and receive her diploma after the ceremony.
