Dr. C. Claud Travis, 72, longtime Methodist minister and father-in-law of Dr. Charles S. Kendall, died of a heart attack today after delivering two sermons in Phoenix. He served churches in Indiana and Illinois from 1895 to 1941, retired to Los Angeles, and moved to Phoenix last Thanksgiving. His wife and two daughters survive.
