Tucsonian Dorothy Fite Dies in Nashville Tennessee

Mrs. Dorothy Payne Fite aged 45 of 2658 North Plumer Avenue died yesterday in a Nashville hospital after a long illness. She and her husband John W. Fite have lived in Tucson and Nashville for 12 years. Survived by two sisters in Tennessee. Funeral services set for tomorrow in Nashville.

In Cleveland Ohio Kenneth Roberts, found walking along a road in a hospital nightgown, said he was too hot and, after a nurse told him to take a walk and cool off, he did. He was picked up by police and questioned.

Willcox man arrested in benzedrine trafficking case

James He Netherland, 30, of Willcox, arrested on suspicion of illegal possession and sale of dangerous drugs. Investigators say he supplied benzedrine tablets linked to the Pima County truck crash that killed nine and injured 31. Undercover officers bought 100 tablets with unmarked bills, locating about 400 more at his possession.
