Retired Episcopal Bishop Richard S. M. Emrich will preach tomorrow at St. Pauls Memorial Church 1501 E Speedway Blvd. He formerly led Michigan and now assists Bishop Joseph M. Hart of Arizona, according to Rector Keith Krebner. Sunday services are at 8 and 10 a.m.

A 36 year old Tucson man Richard Arthur Walker of 2202 E Greenlee Road died at 1130 p.m. after his motorcycle rammed a fence on North Stone Avenue near Blackridge Drive. He suffered head shoulder chest and neck injuries. Walker died at University Hospital. He is the fifth traffic death in Pima County this year, up from four at the same time last year.
Esther Williams' drunken driving trial in Oxnard California has been postponed to March 4 after she requested witnesses from out of state. A highway patrolman arrested her Christmas night near Camarillo for erratic driving and failing a sobriety test. In other news, Dr. Paul A. Ebert became 1975 president of the Society of University Surgeons and Dr. Eric Fonkalsrund was elected president-elect for 1976 at the Tucson meeting.

Enders said Western nations might commandeer ships to ensure oil delivery rather than seize foreign vessels, a move linked to air supply protection rather than full seizure.
Sen. Theodore Montoya of New Mexico receives a red rose each day since taking office on Jan. 18, 1973, with a single yellow rose once on Valentine’s Day two years ago. The donor remains unidentified. the rose is delivered to his desk in the State Senate each morning.
Former Peace Corps and VISTA volunteers will hold a four day recruitment drive to enlist trainees for overseas and domestic programs. The event runs Tuesday through Friday at the Economic Security Commission Office 403 W Congress St and at the University of Arizona arcade with various eligibility requirements and a $2000 completion bonus.
Danna Fink, 44, of 5151 N. Kain Ave., was driving west on West Miracle Mile when her car struck a light pole in the median on the 90 block about 6 a.m. The vehicle was destroyed and Fink was hospitalized in guarded condition with multiple injuries at St. Marys Hospital and Health Center.
London AP reports Sir Julian Huxley a renowned biologist and the public scientist of Britain, died last night at his London home. He was 87 and widely known for his books and plain language broadcasts.
Sam J. Ervin Jr. says he opposed the ERA in Congress but now sees possible merit in its passage. He cites fears about drafting men and women, comments on Mrs. Ford, Supreme Court rulings, and reforms including abolishing congressional seniority while head of the Watergate Committee. Ervin spoke in Tucson at the Orchids and Onions banquet.
In Dallas the so called Great American Dream car, promising 70 mpg and a $2000 price, collapsed amid legal action. Elizabeth Carmichael and 20th Century Motor Car Corp faced restraining orders and grand theft charges as officials fled or surrendered, with Carmichael still sought.
