Driver Of Car That Killed Bacon Is Sentenced
William Borah Kuhl of Costa Mesa California, driver in the December 11 collision in Brea Canyon near Pomona that killed Don Bacon of Tucson, was sentenced by Judge Willis G. Fields in Pomona. Kuhl received 120 days in county jail, two years driving ban, and three consecutive 180 day counts with two years probation if the first 120 days are served. Bacon was a former Tucson high school athlete who died from foggy highway injuries on the way back from a Whittier basketball game. the driver of Bacon’s car also died.
