Barrow Faces Trial on 22 Counts for Unregistered Securities
Burt E. Barrow formerly of Tucson bound over to Superior Court on 22 counts of selling unregistered securities. Judge Alice Truman dismissed five counts after a preliminary hearing. Barrow and Jack P. Stapp were charged March 18 in a 27 count complaint. Barrow was extradited from Illinois. Stapp sought. Six Tucson residents testified investing 1 000 to 2 000 dollars each. Barrow faces up to 10 years or a 10 000 dollar fine on each count.

Dixon Trial Set In Fatal Shooting Case
A March 31 trial date is set in Superior Court for John A. Dixon an airman at Davis Monthan AFB charged with murder in the December 7 shooting death of Richard M. Boranno. Judge Robert C. Boylston scheduled the trial after Dixon pleaded innocent and Boranno was found near West 8th Street and South 10th Avenue.

Two Crashes Injure Three Drivers Cited
A two car crash and a one car rollover injured a Tucson man a Colorado woman and a teenager yesterday. Mrs Leone Cooper 67 of Colorado Springs and Warren Williamson 51 of 808 Erin Blvd were treated at St Josephs Hospital for possible rib injuries and other injuries. Cooper was cited for failure to yield the right of way. Greg Townsend 17 of 1713 W Root Lane was hurt when his sports car overturned on W Roller Coaster Road near N Linda Place and was admitted to Tucson General Hospital with facial cuts and possible back injuries. Townsend was cited for failure to control speed. A passenger Dudley Barrett 16 of 1731 W Root Lane was not hospitalized.

Streett Sentenced to 18 Years for Multiple Auto Fraud Crimes
Franklin B. Streett 34, former Pueblo Ford salesman, received two 2 to 3 year Arizona terms for embezzlement and obtaining money by false pretenses plus a five year federal term on parole at arrest. Cochise County judge added 5 to 7 years for forgery, all sentences consecutive. Juries convicted him of forging deposit checks and keeping part of deposits from auto buyers.
