Obituary: Frank J. Duffy Dies in Nogales at 67
Frank J. Duffy United States collector of customs for Arizona died in Nogales at noon after a heart attack. A New York native, he came to Phoenix in 1888, taught in Phoenix Tempe and Globe, served as first Santa Cruz district attorney and Santa Cruz county judge, and held his third term as collector. Survived by widow Anna, son Francis in Phoenix, and daughter Mrs James R Robins of Nogales.

Two Apache Powder Company workers were killed in an explosion at the plant nine miles south of Benson. The victims are Port Henry Murray 30 Bisbee a mix operator and Chester Cecil Coons 31 sectional foreman native of Pomerene. Murray left a wife and three children.
