Ethiopian forces repelled a bold push by Eritrean insurgents to seize Asamara Airport and sever the last supply corridor into the besieged northern capital. The insurgents also claimed to down one of Ethiopia’s 12 U.S.-built FSA jets in raids north of Asmara.
