Oilman Dies at 91 in Calgary Pioneer laid foundation of United Oils

Fred J. Green, 91, pioneer oilman and chairman of United Oils Co since 1954, died yesterday in Calgary. He helped found the firm in 1920 and built it into a major southern Alberta exploration company. Born in Manistee, Michigan, he moved to Calgary in 1901.
