Man and wife shot. suspect in custody after early morning incident

Michael Blaida, about 50, of West Irvington road, is jailed on an assault with intent to murder charge after a dawn shooting that left Earl Green, 57, in critical condition and Martha Green, 57, in fair condition at a county hospital. Eyewitnesses aided two victims to the hospital as Blaida rushed to surrender through his attorney.
