Arizona Supreme Court Taxes Some Out of State Retirement Income
The Arizona Supreme Court ruled that retirement income from outside the state is taxable under Arizona income tax law. In the Clark case a former Standard Oil of New Jersey employee lived in Arizona 1948–1950 and received 62,590 yearly in retirement pay. the court said pensions from the United States are not exempt and there is no exemption for such retirement pay.
