Power distribution debate drains Arizona utilities funds
Four major Arizona power companies have spent 24.768 million dollars over five years to add capacity for about 80 percent of the state's population. Most expansion occurred in the past seven years, with more planned to meet demand as river and steam power costs and supply constraints draw scrutiny from utility officials.
