JFK Grave Guards Stay at Arlington Cemetery
Army officials said guards at President Kennedy's grave will remain until visitor volume drops enough to allow withdrawal. Hundreds visit daily and about 15,000 passed the grave on Christmas Day. Three guards stay on duty at the site with four others directing traffic from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Night patrols and locked gates complete daily security.
