Billy Graham hit by laryngitis during Vietnam tour
Evangelist Billy Graham contracted a mild case of laryngitis on his sixth day in Vietnam causing hoarseness after long singing sessions. He led a one hour service at Tan Son Nhut base in Siagon before about 700 to 800 U.S. troops. He attributed the strain to talking with soldiers on many steps of his tour.
