Jury Gets Case Against McNeil
A nine plus three jury received the state's case against William V. McNeal 30 charged with involuntary manslaughter for the deaths of Mrs Forimia Rose Shaar 64 and her daughter Mrs Victoria Jacobs 27. The victims were struck by McNeal s car at East Speedway and North Cherry avenue and died later in county hospital. The defense contends he was blinded by oncoming headlights and could not see the women in the crossing while police have not located the other vehicle.

Two Juveniles Confess To Nine Thefts In City

James A. Blasdell an 18 year old University of Arizona freshman from Phoenix endured a cervical spine dislocation after a trampoline accident in Bear Down gym.
