State plans $3.3 million building program for Arizona institutions
The Arizona Planning and Building Commission approved a $3,305,031 construction budget for state institutions for the next fiscal year, far below last year’s $7.1 million. The package funds the Arizona State Hospital, the Arizona Pioneers' Home, the state prison, county junior college aid, park developments, and the Pioneers' Historical Society, with specific allocations for hospital facilities, a cell block, dormitories, and a new fairground exhibit building.
