Ruth Quiroz Plans February Wedding

Ruth Quiroz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Julian Quiroz of 1420 W St Clair St, is engaged to Danny B Ortega of Cucamonga Calif. The bride elect, a Tucson High and S H Krass Nursing School graduate, works at Pima County Hospital and belongs to nursing associations. Ortega is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John B Ortega of Cucamonga and is employed by Pacific Nursery Pots in Upland. A February 15 wedding is planned at the Church of the Nazarene in Upland.

Yale Party Hosts La Sertoma Club Christmas Gathering

Mrs. Albert Cummings of 9315 E. Magdalena will host Tucson Desert La Sertoma Club members at their annual Christmas party and gift exchange this evening. Attendees are asked to bring items for the club’s Christmas project fabric remnants sewing and knitting supplies and magazines for San Xavier Indian Hospital.
