Stanford Moore bribery and conspiracy trial delayed
The bribery and conspiracy trial of State Tax Commissioners Thad Moore and William E. Stanford is postponed from January 2 to January 20 by Superior Court Judge George Sterling. Fifteen days are set for the trial with defense motions to be argued Friday. Cavness seeks a grand jury transcript to aid defense.
