Hijacked Jet Passengers Dine On Steak In Havana
Passengers aboard the Nashville to Miami Trans World Airlines flight ate steak during a nine hour stay in Havana while the hijacker and his female companion waited for Cuban authorities. Tex Ritter and Mason Rudolph reported the meal as the plane’s crew and 30 other passengers were ferried to Miami on separate aircraft. FBI questioned travelers on return. Eldridge Cleaver’s wife said her husband feared return to prison.
