Group Demands Bilingual Admission Rules for Pima Hospital

The Citizen Coalition For Social Action urges Pima County to publish admission criteria in English and Spanish and to allow public questions on procedures. They want open access for Indians on and off the reservation and inclusion of immigrants, especially Mexican nationals, on the eligible list. A 14 member committee, including Dr. John Crow and Rev. Alberto Carrillo, was formed to study the proposals.

Tucson Students Sweep At Forensics Winter Tournament

Nineteen Tucson high school students won awards in eight categories at the Forensic League of Arizona winter tournament in Phoenix.
