Seven drivers fined and jailed for drunken driving
Seven drivers faced City and Justice Courts for motor vehicle violations involving liquor. Hugh Sandlin Shearer, 36, a resident of 425 Star Ave, was fined 150 dollars and jailed 15 days for a second offense drunken driving. Jose Martinez, 42, of Sells, and Jose Rodriguez, 29, of 750 W Nebraska Sr, admitted guilt to drunken driving. Gerald Francis Black, 34, of 6901 Calle Bellatrix, was found guilty after trial. Each paid 100 dollars and received 10 days in jail. Nathan George Pablo, 23, of Sells, was fined 100 dollars and jailed 10 days for possession of a motor vehicle while intoxicated. Tony Francisco, 38, of Topawa, was fined 100 dollars and jailed 10 days for drunken driving. Rogelio O Cruz, 47, of 1814 E Silverlake Road, was fined 100 dollars and jailed 10 days for drunken driving and driving on a revoked license.
