Notaro Freed on $310,000 Bond Ahead of New York Court

Mafia bodyguard Peter Joseph Notaro, 55, posted a 310000 bond and was released from custody. He faces a New York credit card indictment with more than 50 charges pending, and will appear in N Y court. Notaro surrendered with attorney William Netherton and lives at 133 N Rosemont Ave.

Court seeks restraining order to bar auditor from post

Arizona Attorney General Gary Nelson asks the state Supreme Court to issue a restraining order blocking State Auditor Jewel Jordan from taking office. The court will hear the petition on December 10, with the request effective January 2 when the Finance Commissioner assumes duties.
