Arizona First Choice for Sun Bowl Host in Border Conference
The Sun Carnival committee views Arizona as the top candidate to host the Sun Bowl on New Year’s, with Texas Tech as second. If Arizona loses to Utah today, Texas Tech could get the bid, though Tech failed to play the required three conference games. Arizona’s strong record stabilizes the selection amid potential tie with Hardin-Simmons.
