The Topeka Capital-Journal reports former Tucson Daily Citizen photographer Mark Godfrey, 25, was beaten by Chicago police while photographing a peace demonstration at the Democratic National Convention. He sustained arm cuts and had camera gear smashed after being denied floor access despite accreditation.
