Auditions Set for Gilbert and Sullivan's Mikado in Tucson
Tucson G S Theater schedules auditions for The Mikado to be staged October at Tucson Music Center. auditions Sunday 2 4 pm and Monday 7 10 pm at Muller Piano Co auditorium 4349 E Broadway. Cast calls include tenors baritones basses lyric sopranos mezzos and sopranos with 14 men 10 women for acting and chorus.

A 650000 damage suit filed under Arizona wrongful death statute by Mrs. Betty Galvez of Sells regarding the death of her husband Joseph was dismissed after attorneys reached an out of court agreement. The case named Bogard GMC Corp General Motors Corp and General Tire Rubber Co claiming a faulty tire on a new GMC truck caused Mrs. Galvez to crash on Ajo Way January 16 1966. The suit also covered her three children Geraldine Frank and Annette.
