St. Josephs Hospital names new administrators and heads
John W. Marnell former director of the U S Public Health Service Indian Hospital at Eagle Butte S D was named assistant administrator. Robert J Conroy named assistant administrator for finances after seven years as business manager. Three staff nurses were appointed head nurses Mrs George Lentz Mrs John T Caffrey and Mrs Peter Farrell all registered nurses. Mrs Gerry Buthod joined as clinical nurse specialist after teaching at Northern Arizona University.

Trio Bound Over In Burr Cycle Theft Case
Phoenix men Roger Lippi Marchell Larson and Calvin St John were bound over for trial on kidnapping assault and related charges in the theft of J Kerry Burr son of Pima County Sheriff Wakion Burrs motorcycle Burr testified that gunmen forced him at a hospital visit to sign over the cycle and warned him not to reveal the crime. The trio drove him to Casa Grande before leaving him.

UA Alumni Solicited For Contributions
Fifty thousand alumni of the University of Arizona are being contacted by mail with a request for a contribution of a dollar or two for every year they have been out of school. Roy P. Drachman said the method has been used successfully by other universities and could support UA operations including student loan funds, library and museum acquisitions, publications, scholarships and research.
