Jet Crashes After Bombardier Fire Over Nha Trang

A B57 jet was shot down over Nha Trang and crashed into the city. The aircraft carried 3000 pounds of bombs, four 2X-pounders exploded, fires smoldered hours after. Maj. Gilbert L. Myers pledged sympathy to Vietnamese casualties and said the crew attempted to steer away from the coast and parachuted over the sea.

U S Ambassador Walks Out of Kremlin Amid Hanoi Viet Nam Clash

The American ambassador Kohler left a Bulgarian Embassy reception after criticizing U S policy in Viet Nam and attended a Kremlin event for King Mohammed Zahir Shah. Hanoi radio issued the Viet Cong appeal urging regrouped compatriots to join the fight and insisted negotiations exclude the Front unless it has a decisive voice.

Harbour Fined Over Engine Overhaul Charge Set at 69

Superior Court orders Ray Harbour to charge only 69 dollars for an engine rebuilding job after F. K. Willis was billed 251 dollars.
