Tucson Woman Republican League Forms Local Branch
The Tucson base of the Woman’s Republican League establishes a permanent organization Monday with 69 initial members. Miss Eggleston, organizer for the state committee, addressed the group. Mrs. Digkherman presides, Mrs. Kendall is secretary, and Vera Ghurts heads the program committee. A large membership committee is formed, with plans for national and state meetings and instructive addresses to prominent residents. Miss Eggleston departs for Nogales to organize a club there.
