Tucson Franchise Granted for Electric Light and Gas Plant
The city council grants Joseph J. Henry and assigns a five year franchise to supply electric light and gas. The ordinance requires a 6000 lamp plant within nine months and sets maximum charges, with city use of poles for a fire alarm. Existing ordinances repealed and old franchise revoked to take effect in 1902.
