Twelve year old Kathy Harris uses a tape recorder as a babysitting aid to curb fighting. She tells kids that their parents will hear their quarrels, and they listen to the playback in silence. Neighbors suggest parents could also leave taped bedtime reminders for their children.
Young musicians from Tucson will gather at Organization Ridge on Mt Lemmon for a two and a half day Chamber Music in the Mountains workshop guided by Dennis R. Bourret of Tucson Junior Strings. Twenty six students will sleep in tents and hike between rehearsals with a $35 fee covering food and lodging, ending with a free concert at 6 30 Sunday night at the outdoor site.
