Tolls on Blackfriars Bridge Raise City Feud

A historic account discusses the expected disruption of traffic on Blackfriars Bridge as arches risk collapse. It notes large daily tolls from carts and waggons, forecasting a revenue far short of repairs and possible Parliament funding, with the city profiting from tolls if repairs proceed.
