At West India Dock Robert Lloyd the carpenter of Lord Yarborough's yacht Nymph was charged with stealing a pickled tongue weighing eight pounds. Dock officer Bishop stopped him leaving South Dock with the tongue. Lloyd claimed it as his own property. judge Ballantine fined him three shillings or six weeks’ imprisonment.
