Top-Dressing Corn Profit Able
Fifty bushels of corn per acre from his second planting was harvested last year by Fred Redford of New Ross Indiana. His first planting was destroyed by a severe rain and wind storm early in June. He planted again around June tenth and used 75 pounds per acre of high grade fertilizer at planting and 125 pounds per acre as top dressing. The late crop matured before frost and top-dressing boosted yield and quality. Many farmers in the midwest practice top-dressing with promising gains. There is a note on catarrh remedy Hall's Catarrh Cure and related products with testimonial offers.
